" Well one thing about gospel music is that it constitutes the grass roots ground where all those young musical talent to grow while serving and worshiping God. And look how far they're reaching out once fledged out there. We don't have any occasion in Japan, or probably elsewhere.

O I wish I could play like John... Somebody told me his first commercial recording was made for a Japanese trumpet player. Well he's also a big name here in Jazz/Fusion sort of stuff in line with his world fame but I'm not sure if his discography starts off from the recording in Japan.

All-time favorite funk quintessential. It looks like this footage of Night Music is uploaded from the recording of Japanese cable that I see in the captioned logo. He's the uncle of Snoop Dogg, right? Nobody would be surprised to find that.

Man I loved playing in gospel bands! That's about one thing I cannot help missing... Generally music here in Japan is not so much accessible as in the other countries, or at least in the US where live music can be found just'round the corner in your favorite pub or church. They Japanese don't need music somehow... Whether you're a music lover or a player, you'll bog down a big time once you find yourself being stuck here.

An element in this blog is the introduction of some good video recordings tubed out on the Net. This is intended for me to skip humdrums in finding footages that I repeatedly checking. I should admit, I'm an old school. Hope you enjoy it with me.
